Carolyn, the heart and backbone of our practice, is uniquely qualified to keep things running like a fine-tuned machine – and both the patients and the team love her. After receiving her BA from the University of Michigan, she spent years building a career with Fortune 100, high-tech companies. Now she manages our practice – the business, the infrastructure, and our team, making sure they are always ready to give our patients the best care possible. She loves that her role in the practice is so broad and can be technical and financial, as well as people- and customer service-oriented…and all in the course of a single day! “I really enjoy being able to apply my non-dental experience, such as customer service and professionalism to the dental office. The most important thing is patient comfort and trust; in fact, everything we do is to make this a dental office our patients never want to leave!” Carolyn and Dr. Boeke treat their work team like family. They all know each other’s spouses, kids, and even parents. Carolyn and Dr. Boeke have two grown boys and a 17-year-old daughter.
With 17 years of dental assisting and business experience under her belt, she is able to help our patients fit their dental treatment into their lifestyle. A Graduate of ATI, Amy is the person who will sit down with you and discuss your treatment options, any financial decisions that may need to be made, and also schedules your treatment plan. She loves helping patients to achieve better oral health. “I love helping our patients discover opportunities to get what they want and what they need”. Amy stays busy with her son who is involved in all sports from baseball to football.
Wreck ‘Em! A graduate of Texas Tech and Collin County College, Arlyn brings passion to dentistry to our office. She is committed to help our patients stay on track when it comes to their dental health. In her free time she volunteers at her local church and loves to discover new cities.
Irene has been with our practice since 2013 and is responsible for educating all of her patients about their overall oral health. She received her associates degree from Concorde Career College, and then went on to achieve her bachelors degree from Texas Women’s University. She had originally planned on being a nurse, but interned at a hospital and realized that this was not the profession for her. She happened to take a front desk position at a dental office and fell in love with the dental industry. She loves the patient interaction and helping people gain back their confidence. She also loves the family atmosphere and judgement-free zone at the office.
Outside of work, Irene is very active in a non-profit organization that her godmother founded, Women to the World. Together they organize fundraisers to send much needed supplies and money to battered women across the globe, predominantly in West African countries. She also is an avid in-line roller skater and loves going skating with her friends. She enjoys traveling with her husband and son, as well as having wine parties with girlfriends.
A graduate from Tennessee State University and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Kristal has over 30 years of experience within the dental profession. She grew up in Texas before moving to Tennessee to go to college and raise her family. Kristal has enjoyed being back in the area and states she has always been passionate about helping her patients achieve optimum oral health and create a beautiful smiles to last a lifetime.
In her free time she enjoys the outdoors and traveling, especially going back to Nashville to visit her son.
Kristin is a proud graduate of University of Texas at Tyler as well as Concorde Career College, plus she has advanced training from the Unified Medicine Institute, where she became a certified Holistic Healthcare Practitioner. She also went to Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) school to learn advanced life-saving techniques for dealing with any emergency situation. You’ll find her cleaning teeth and restoring oral health through gum tissue therapy, as well as educating patients on how to keep a beautiful smile. She loves seeing the confidence and self-esteem that her patients have once they love their smiles and have beautiful, healthy teeth and gums. She loves the family atmosphere at the practice, as well as their overall commitment to diagnosing and treating gum disease as early as possible in order to stop irreversible damage from occurring.
When she’s not at work, Kristin is normally outside camping, hiking, or attending a yoga class. She’s also an active member of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.
Brandi is a graduate of the Dental Assisting program at Richland College and also attended post graduated training via the Total Patient Service – Total Immersion program. She is here to assist all of our patients with scheduling their hygiene appointments and working with them to process their eligible insurance benefits. She says that the people at Bayside Dental are what makes the practice such an amazing work environment. She loves that the whole team takes care of everyone’s individual needs, from helping a patient with toothache pain to welcoming a new employee to the family.
Brandi is originally from Yuma, Arizona where she met her husband while he was stationed there with the Marine Corps. She loves spending time with her family, including riding motorcycles with her husband or going on weekend trips with him and their two daughters.
Donita is a recent addition to Bayside Dental, but she’s been working in the dental industry for nearly 24 years. She loves being able to talk to the patients and getting to know them each as individuals. She stresses that she wants them to know that she has a personal interest in them and that they are more than a name to her. She is here to help with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and making every patient feel welcome. She feels that the technology in the office far surpasses most office that she’s worked in, and loves that the entire staff is committed to helping the patients understand and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Donita loves spending time with her family and friends, including her grown son and daughter and her dog, JoJo. She volunteers at Camp Summit, a wonderful barrier-free camp for children and adults with disabilities, and also loves cooking and catering, as well as working on stained glass pieces and mosaics.
Teresa is the sunshine you will see when you walk into our office. “I am our patients’ advocate, so I love getting to know them and making sure they have a great experience. We treat all of our patients like family and make them feel welcomed”. Teresa also makes sure that we maximize our patients’ benefits, and having been with us for over 9 years, she is the perfect person for the position. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has raised 3 teenage children.
Tina is the smiling face that will assist you with making appointments and any of your financial needs. A veteran of the dental industry, Tina has always been interested in how a healthy mouth is connected to a person’s overall health. Having a father-in-law that was a Periodontist helped to spark that interested when she first started working for dentists 15 years ago. She loves the team environment at Bayside Dental, and that all of the staff genuinely cares for people and their well being. She also loves meeting and visiting with all of the patients, getting to know their individual needs and how she can help them achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with her husband of 27 years and her three sons. They enjoy game nights, trying new restaurants, and taking day trips to see new places.
With 16 years of experience under her belt, Raegan is one of our practices most precious assets. “I love working closely with patients and the rest of our team. We have a big family here and coming to work is easy when you love the people you work with and who also care about their patients as much as I do.” A native from St Louis, she has made Garland her home with her two young children and her husband.
Ashley came to our office in early 2017 after already working in the dental industry for over 7 years. She loves bonding with the patients, being able to talk to them about their needs and how the doctors’ detailed plans can help them improve both their health and their confidence. She never imagined that she would be this passionate about teeth, but anyone she talks to, especially about oral surgery, realizes it very quickly.
Outside of work, Ashley is a mom who loves taking road trips and watching baseball. She also loves sitting around the fire pit with friends and family, or reading great mystery books.
Brooke is a graduate of the Austin Dental Assistant School and brings over 6 years of experience in the dental industry to our practice. She is here to assist the doctor with any number of procedures, both small and large, as well as making sure the necessary equipment is ready for any number of possible outcomes during the dental work. She loves seeing patients smile and keeping people healthy and healthy. She also loves the team environment at the office and how everyone works so well together.
Outside of work, Brooke stays busy with her 3 daughters, husband, and 2 dogs. She loves spending time with her family and friends, having cook-outs, watching sports, going to the park, and riding motorcycles with her husband.
If you ask Charlene how long she’s been in the dental industry, she’ll tell you “EONS! Before and in-between and after kids!” She received her training at El Centro College and Dallas Medical and Surgical where she learned all of the duties required for a dental assistant. She prepares the rooms before every procedure and assists the dentists with anything they need in both regular procedures and complex surgeries. She loves learning about new technology and working with the patients to help them achieve their individual heath goals. She has always loved working with people, and is thrilled to be working in a practice where everyone is like a family.
Outside of work, Charlene is very active with her church and enjoys reading great books. She also loves the outdoors and spending time with her grand-kids.
Denise is a proud graduate of Elite Dental School in Forney, and has always been fascinated with teeth. She is here to assist the doctors with anything that they need as they complete dental work, and also the sterilization of all instruments used in the office. She loves to learn new things, and is truly enjoying the family environment of Bayside Dental.
Outside of work, Denise is engaged with three children and 3 grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and anything involving the outdoors.
Katelyn received her education at Careers in Dental Assisting in Royse City as well as gaining advanced training as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). These skills help her to better assist the doctors throughout a number of different procedures and helps her to be ready for any possible outcomes when it comes to patient care. Dentistry runs in her family, as well as helping people, so a career in dentistry was a natural fit for her. She loves the family atmosphere at Bayside Dental and says that everyone is ‘amazing’ to our patients.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find Katelyn with a fishing pole in her hand. She and her fiancee love to fish and ride ATV’s before returning home to feed her chickens.
While Mireya only joined our practice in early 2017, she has over 25 years of experience in the dental industry. A graduate of Concorde Career Institute, she is here to assist the dentists with anything they need during procedures, as well as setting up all necessary equipment and restocking supplies. She loves working with people, and believe it or not, she really loves surgeries! She really appreciates how everyone at Bayside Dental works as a team, helping each other out.
Mireya has been married to her husband for over 37 years and has three children and 10 grandchildren. She loves to spend time with her grand-kids dancing, reading, and playing volleyball. She also lives helping for the needy.
